Mandarin Chinese
This is a before and after-school program from UPK to Grade 5. The Mandarin program mainly consists of two parts this year, language and culture. We will learn language about animals, fruits, colors, families, numbers, body parts, food, verbs, and simple conversations.
For the culture part, I will introduce traditional Chinese festivals, Chinese food, games, calligraphy, Chinese songs, and dances. We have a big performance to celebrate Chinese New Year every year. The students also have opportunities to participate in all kinds of activities related to the Chinese language.
The Mandarin Program registration begins the third week of each school year.
